2027 Events
Mentoring & Support Workshops
Throughout 2027, we will be hosting a series of small, personal Mentoring & Support Workshops, covering a wide range of practical business topics.
These are designed to help businesses build confidence, improve readiness and tackle challenges without feeling overwhelmed, these interactive clinic style sessions will offer an opportunity to learn, ask questions and gain practical guidance in a supportive environment.
Most workshops will be held at the iAero Centre, Yeovil, with additional opportunities to attend at other venues.
Subjects will include:
- Getting Supply Chain Ready – preparing your business to work with larger organisations and enter bigger supply chains.
- Social Values Made Simple – understanding what it means, why it matters and how to make it achievable for the smaller business.
- Bid Writing & Tenders – navigating the process, including finance and Social Value requirements.
- Security & Protection – IT, cyber security, document security, site security and insurance.
- Training Without the Headache – understanding your requirements and making training simpler to manage.
- Be legally prepared – HR essentials, employment law and general business legal topics
- Good Housekeeping – risk assessments, staff training and health & safety.
- Preventative Business Health – staying ahead of potential problems through making sure that your HR matters, insurance cover, occupational health and training are all in the right place
These workshops will be about practical help, shared knowledge and opportunity, designed to give businesses the confidence that they are operating compliantly, strengthen their operations and prepare for future opportunities.
